The Industrial Operating System Gap

Many mid-market industrial companies are running on systems designed for a different economic environment.

The symptoms are familiar:

  • slow and unpredictable sales cycles
  • fragmented commercial data and CRM usage
  • manual operational workflows
  • legacy capital-equipment revenue models
  • limited visibility into pipeline and operational performance

These issues usually seem manageable at first.

But over time they create structural friction that slows growth, limits margin expansion, and constrains enterprise value.

The challenge isn’t usually the product.

The challenge is the operating system behind the business.

Rebuilding Revenue & Operating Systems

The most effective way to unlock enterprise value is by modernizing the systems that connect:

  • product
  • sales
  • operations
  • leadership decision making

This means redesigning how revenue is generated and how operational workflows support it.

My work focuses on helping organizations transition from legacy operating models to modern, technology-enabled growth systems.

Two areas drive the majority of transformation.

Builder Experience

Throughout my career I have worked across global organizations, emerging technology ventures, and industrial markets, navigating periods of transition.

Selected examples include:

Global Operating Leadership

Managed $300M+ in international P&L responsibility across 11 markets within a multinational organization.

Revenue Platform Scaling

Helped scale a SaaS revenue platform from $5M to $7.4M in under 24 months through redesigned go-to-market systems.

Commercial Model Transformation

Reduced enterprise sales cycles from three years to three months by introducing recurring infrastructure services.

Ecosystem Development

Built a regional smart mobility ecosystem connecting 250+ companies, universities, and public sector partners to accelerate technology commercialization.

Operator Engagements

QuandtMLeap is not a traditional consulting firm.

It represents my personal work as an operating executive and transformation partner.

Engagements typically involve working with:

  • CEOs of mid-market industrial companies
  • private equity operating partners
  • leadership teams navigating technology transitions

The work usually begins with diagnosing the structural friction inside a business and then designing the systems required to remove it.

This often includes:

  • commercial and operational diagnostics
  • revenue operating system design
  • RevOps and automation implementation
  • leadership alignment around scalable growth

Industrial Transformation Perspectives

The challenges facing industrial organizations are evolving quickly.

Through QuandtMLeap I publish perspectives on topics such as:

  • the AI power gap in industrial companies
  • modernizing legacy manufacturing sales systems
  • automation inside commercial organizations
  • operating system design for mid-market companies

These insights reflect lessons learned working across industrial markets, emerging technologies, and organizational transformation efforts.
